3.4. Not Receiving Alerts

If you are not receiving any alerts, you should first check the AlertSite page to see if there have been any alerts issued recently. It could be there haven't been any alerts to send out. Next you should login to AlertMail and review the Message Log located at the bottom of the main page. You can click the more... link for a larger listing. Every message the system has processed recently will be shown here with a short summary including the date and time. There are 3 main status messages you will see. The first is "Sent" which means AlertMail has sent you the message. If you didn't get it, then there is a reception problem on your end. The second is "Filtered", which means AlertMail has not sent you this message because of your filter settings. Finally you might see some sending errors in red text. These are problems that AlertMail has run into trying to send you a message.
